I was absolutely thrilled to be a part of Katie and Mitch’s alternative, DIY wedding day. These two were very laid back, and their priorities were clear from the very beginning, they wanted a fantastic celebration with people they loved above all else.

H+E celebrated their wedding day at the elegant Nottinghamshire wedding venue, Hazel Gap Barn in Edwinstowe, in August 2025 and an incredible day was had by all!

L+A’s unique wedding day took place at the luxury Chesterfield wedding venue, Wildes Inns, in August 2025

A+D married at the countryside wedding venue The Stanwick Hotel in Northamptonshire in August 2025 and what a day it was! The bride and groom had a Disney themed wedding, with every detail thought through, touching personal vows, and finished off with an epic Abba tribute act in the evening.

In July 2025, on the hottest day of the year, I had the absolute joy to film Laura and Danielle’s gorgeous big gay wedding at Normanton Church, with preparations at the nearby Normanton Park Gardens, a beautiful quirky accommodation and prep venue a short walk away. I can honestly say it was an absolute privilege to film their wonderful LGBTQ+ wedding for them.

A+D’s beautiful DIY wedding was held at the stunning Peak District wedding venue, the Peak District Holiday Barns in July 2025 and what a corker it was!

In May I had the absolute pleasure of filming S+M’s beautiful, heartfelt and really quite wonderful wedding day at the luxury wedding venue Cockliffe Country House, in Arnold, Nottingham.

Abbie and Ed’s wedding day took place at the lovely Leicestershire wedding venue, Bridge House Barn, near Kibworth, in May 2025.

K+A held their wedding at the stunning Makeney Hall Hotel, just outside Belper in Derbyshire in May 2025. This lovely wedding venue is situated in the heart of the English countryside, not too far from the Peak District, and is one of my favourites.

V+C married at the rustic barn wedding venue Hanbury Barns in Staffordshire, the West Midlands, in May 2025, and what a gorgeous and heartfelt day they both had!

S+J married at the Warwickshire wedding venue Nailcote Hall Hotel, near Coventry, in April 2025 surrounded by family and friends!

Helena and Adam married at the stunning Derbyshire wedding venue, The West Mill in March 2025. What a gorgeous couple and an absolutely fantastic wedding day they both had!

Bea and Dan’s wedding day was at the incredible Norwood Park in Southwell in Nottingham on December the 22nd 2024 and was officially my last wedding of the season.

Chloe and Adam got married on the 20th of December 2024 and I recently caught up with Chloe to get her thoughts on winter wedding planning and what they learned throughout their journey from planning, all the way to receiving their wedding films.

What an incredible alternative wedding day for this lovely couple at one of my favourite venues, Donington Park Farmhouse, where I have recently become a recommended wedding supplier too!

There is something truly special about a DIY wedding, the way people come together to celebrate and contribute their time and effort towards a helping a couple achieve their dream wedding day is really what life is all about.

Alice and Joe had a wonderfully laid back and relaxed wedding day at Whirlow Brook Hall in September 2024, a hidden gem of a wedding venue nestled in the woodlands of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, on the borders of the Peak District.

Sophie and William married at the rustic yet luxury woodland wedding venue, The Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall, just outside of Market Harborough in September 2024, on a typical British weather day and by that I mean both sunny and rainy!

Childhood sweethearts Ellie and Connor married at Loughborough wedding venue, Sutton Bonington Hall, in September 2024, and it was my absolute privilege to film their wedding day for them at this lovely country house wedding venue.

An epic wedding day for these two wonderful brides, in the city they met while at university, at St Chad’s College, part of Durham University.
