A+D: DIY wedding video at Peak District Holiday Barn, near Buxton
Peak District Barn wedding venue.
A+D’s beautiful DIY wedding was held at the stunning Buxton wedding venue, the Peak District Holiday Barns in July 2025 and what a corker it was! Despite some slightly persistent drizzle following the ceremony, A+D had a glorious wedding day with not only their gorgeous dog, but so many wonderful personal touches too, including the bride’s incredible veil, hand embroidered by the bride herself!
The fun in the evening was brought to the party by inclusive ceilidh caller Schuggie’s Ceilidhs and I had a lovely time too with the extremely talented Derby wedding photographer Jess Irwin photography.
“I honestly struggle to put into words how amazing Laura was on on our day.
For starters she’s a genuinely wonderful person. It was so important to us to feel relaxed on our day and it honestly felt like we were being filmed by a friend. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for that.
The videos are absolutely out of this world. I sobbed my way through watching them. I cannot believe how perfectly she captured our day. I honestly had high hopes for the videos but she MASSIVELY exceeded our expectations!
We will never be able to thank her enough for helping us capture the best days of our lives. She helped keep us on schedule, didn’t miss a single thing and did it all with a smile. Honestly a true joy to have at our wedding and I cannot recommend her enough! Off to go and watch the videos for the tenth time now hahaha!”
