Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
What are you like on the day?
Fly on the wall/sneaky ninja/nice/kind/actually quite helpful - I’m more than happy to help with buttons or buttonholes, and I come with a penknife with a hook and actual scissors!
What’s your booking process?
It totally depends on you! I’m happy to chat over email, on the phone, on Teams, or even in person if you’re local. Everyone’s different and I completely get that. I’m couple-led so happy to do whatever you’re comfortable with.
Music or dialogue?
Both! Your public facing highlights films require a licenced music track and I currently use Artlist.io to source licensed music. The style shown in my highlights films is exactly the same style as in my feature films.
Do you charge extra if we’re not getting ready at the venue?
I’m happy to travel between venues on the day and there are no hidden charges.
If you’re getting ready at separate locations and want footage of both of your preparations, I advise choosing my two videographer video package. Investing in two videographers is worth it to remove any potential stress, especially if you think you’re likely to run over a little. But if you’re both at one venue getting ready, it can all be effectively planned in your timeline with one videographer too. Again, it all depends on you, your wedding budget and how you want your day to run.
Can we have the raw footage too?
Yes, it’s your day, it’s your footage! Have a look at my investment page for current prices.
More couples are now thinking about wedding content creation in addition to a wedding film, and I can offer you the best quality possible through 4K footage, which you can edit yourself using free software such as Capcut or DaVinci Resolve. This allows you to create as many reels or stories that you want to, without that phone camera aesthetic and the sacrifice of quality.
Do you offer cloud storage?
I switched from using USBs to offering a cloud storage option back in 2023 in an effort to be more sustainable. You can download directly from the cloud as many times as you want, and watch through a range of TV apps including Apple TV, Android TV, Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, and on the latest Sony, Samsung and LG TVs (plus a few more).
I advise you to download and save copies of your films on your own personal cloud storage too - just in case.
