I was absolutely thrilled to be a part of Katie and Mitch’s alternative, DIY wedding day. These two were very laid back, and their priorities were clear from the very beginning, they wanted a fantastic celebration with people they loved above all else.

Abbie and Ed’s wedding day took place at the lovely Leicestershire wedding venue, Bridge House Barn, near Kibworth, in May 2025.

There is something truly special about a DIY wedding, the way people come together to celebrate and contribute their time and effort towards a helping a couple achieve their dream wedding day is really what life is all about.

Nicola and Ian’s day began at home surrounded by family and friends. Myself and my lovely assistant Lisa were welcomed in to the fold with open arms to Nicola’s bridesmaid’s house where the atmosphere was relaxed, chatty and excited! A dream start to the day!
